LogicPro I looks as though freezing has the advantage of preserving the audio quality of the track over the bounce method.
I assume the plug-ins are completely disabled upon playback for that track once the freezing is activated? Therefore, if you're comfortable committing, you'll get better results by bouncing as opposed to freezing. There is no real CPU difference between the two methods. Both just render an audio file - the main difference being the freeze file is generally a bit float file, whereas a bounce is usually bit fp.

However, wouldn't freezing a track achieve the same results? And make it easier to return to the original track for edits? What are the advantages and disadvantages to freezing or bouncing a track?
